My month of May

Hello everyone! Can you believe it's May already? Grab a comfortable seat, relax, and enjoy this quick recap of my busy month. For outings, I had a wonderful time exploring all the water features down at the Lakes water park. Another day, we headed over to Tauranga Crossing to check out JB Hi-Fi before enjoying a lovely, sunny walk outside. We also went to the Merivale community Centre to check that out. I also dropped by Connect 20 quite frequently, having an absolute blast catching up with some fantastic friends over refreshing cold drinks. During computer sessions, I rocked out to my favourite tunes by Elvis, the Bee Gees, and Queen, and even used Gemini AI to create fun pictures of myself hanging out with them. For sports, we teamed up for cornhole and velcro ball. On another action-packed day, we tackled some awesome tabletop games that focused on hitting different targets. We also played ten pin one day and on another day I was super lucky and got to listen to Devon Briggs, a Para-Olympian track cyclist who brought in his medals and track bike. Over in Literacy and Numeracy, we tapped into our creative sides to co-write an exciting story called "Jack and Batman's Adventure." Looking ahead, our Masquerade Ball is this June! I’ve dusted off my dancing shoes and started learning how to ballroom dance, which has been an absolute highlight for me.

Another great session of Mary Poppins! Today it was great singing along to the song “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”! Such a big word 😅 WD

I had so much fun this morning going to Tauranga Crossing. We went to JB Hi-Fi and then went for a walk around and enjoyed the sunshine outside. GV

We had so much fun practicing our ballroom dancing with my friends. Preparing for the Masquerade Ball. I loved it.

Today my friends and I started writing up our story “Jack and Batman’s adventure”. We are having a lot of fun writing this story! WD

Great fun carrying on Marry Poppins play. Today Marry Poppins and the kids (Micheal and Jane) went into shop and had conversation with Mr Correy. WD

 

Cooking

We made mini cheesecakes. We decided to put blueberries in. They tasted great. EB

 

Sports

We had a new Velcro ball game. It was so much fun and I got to play properly with both hands. I really like this game.

 Today we made cool fish art and glued on sea shells and seaweed with our friends from Te Puke. I had fun adding the water color to it. - TR

Today I went to the water park at the lakes, and it was very fun!Gv

Today in computers I enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley and Queen on YouTube. EB

I enjoyed my time at the Greerton Library today, and I picked out my own books. I chose spider books and shark books which are my favourite! - TR

War Memorial Wall in Tauranga

  Today I visited the War Memorial Wall in Tauranga. I saw the names of the brave men that gave their lives so we could be free. Anzac Day is this weekend a time to remember them. Lest we Forget! DG

Abilities unleashed

Today for abilities unleashed I had fun reading some books with my friends from Te Puke, then we finished it off with a fun game of toss the bean bags! I won at least 2 rounds - TR

 Today in cooking we made vege fritters they were delicious.

I was a pro at the drums today. And each time the song got paused we had to "STOP" 🛑 our instrument. It was a fun game.

Got to wonder down to Liston Park to play some petanque with my mates. Than came back to play some bowling. Was a fun sports afternoon. -N.O.

 Today we made self  crusting quiche with vegetables from the garden. EB

Abilities Unleashed

 Today at Abilities Unleashed Te Puke came over to the Greerton centere and we played Bowles and 10 pin, we had a great time and it was lovely to see our friends.
