Nice morning out......

I enjoyed my morning at the rotary reserve in maungatapu with my group of friends. We went for a bush walk and took in the breath taking scenery.....

Boys group outing to the park......

I went to the memorial park it was a beautiful warm day. I enjoyed people watching and watching my friends. I put my hands in the water fountain to cool off and had my cool sunglasses on to protect my eyes from the bright sun........

Enjoying Melissa's birthday cake

I thoroughly enjoyed the birthday cake Melissa bought in for afternoon tea.  It was a cookies and cream  Icecream cake and as you can tell by the look on my face it was delicious........

A sense of humour

I am a real cheeky character and I love to make my friends laugh all the time. Here I am doing what I do best! 

Playing the ukulele

I love playing the ukulele, it's ,y favourite instrument at the centre and I always pick the yellow one. Here I am playing it as I listen to music with my friends

Renovation

I have been working on a cool tyre chair I made from recycled tyres, I really likes spiders so I made a web out of rope. 

Earthquake awareness.

In life skills, we talked about earthquakes and how to keep safe when one happens, we also made a fun earthquake safety movie, I was one of the actors, it was fun. 

Cooking

I had great fun making cupcakes in cooking . I enjoyed using all the different decorations and colours to put on the cupcakes. My favourite was the 007 cupcake.

Visiting the farm

I had a amazing on the farm . I got meet all of Rodgers animals I really liked the cows :). I can't wait to visit again :)

Making pizza

I worked really hard in cooking to make a delicious cheesy, mushroom pizza! It turned out really awesome

Bond turns 40!

Last Friday we celebrated my 40th birthday here at the centre. My mum brought in my James Bond birthday cake that was very special and made just for me! As well as some party food. Was the best birthday ever.

Guys group outing

I had a great time at the mount visiting the bike shop. I enjoyed getting a ride in the bike cart with all my friends.

Classic car museum

I had a great time in Hamilton at the classic car museum. I liked Seeing all the old cars especially the fords. It was a great day out with all my friends.

Police visit

I had a great time meeting at the Greeton police station. My favourite part was getting to go in the police car. I also learnt about being safe in the community.

Fire truck visit

Had so much fun meeting the fire fighters and getting the truck! Even got to use the hose 

Muffin time

We have been making muffins in cookery.Last week we tried a pesto and cheese recipe,this week we added fruit ....lots of berries for a sweet treat.Here I am mixing up the ingredients,yumm !

Photo booth fun

Today I had a bit of  fun on the  photo booth app  on the iPad this app makes your face change shape it was  a good laugh .

Mark bond

Frank Casey suit hire

For guys group we went to frank Casey to try on some suits. Once I put it on, I looked and felt like James Bond so all the boys started calling me Mark bond. It was heaps of fun and I really enjoyed looking flash with my friends. 

iPad skills

Today I learnt how to do my own blog. I will try do it once a week, but it gets busy being bond.

St Johns visit

We were so lucky at Arohanui Greerton to get a special visit from a real St Johns Ambo truck, I got a really cool experience going in the truck as if I were a paiteint, don't worry everyone I'm fine it was all for fun. I got to ask lots of questions about what to do if someone is hurt or sick.

Yeah James Bond

I am making a mosaic of James Bond, we have made his gun and it's looking so cool, I can't wait till it's finished it's going to be so neat.

Art/ Craft

Today I finished my James Bond sign for my room. I had fun drawing all the pictures and getting to use tin as a new material.

James Bond computer

I love computers and James Bond films.  I'm writing my brother Jermey today.  It's rainy outside so we've been playing inside today.  I still have great fun with games and dancing, and Bond when it rains.

Cool man, cool

Here I am having lunch and Donna sneaks up on me and takes my photo, but, aha, I still managed to get my James Bond pose, cool man, cool 💥✨

Spider man

I had an awesome spider party in the sensory room. I brought my sparkly spider Michelle with me, we decorated the sensory room with fake cobwebs, a spider I made in arts and crafts, spider fabric and looked at spider pictures. I had an awesome time. 

Driving Range

I had a great time at the driving range in the mount. It was fun to hit the balls and see how far they could go. I can't wait to try again soon :)

ABBA disco

Had the best afternoon at the ABBA disco. We did so much dancing, listened to heaps of ABBA.  I got to show off all my dance moves.

Animal fun

We all had the chance to have fun with different animals from pets for parties. There was a Guinea pig, A rat, a lizard, a mini pony, a goat, a chicken and a rabbit. I really enjoyed getting to sit there and pat each one. 

Guide dog collection

I had a amazing time helping collect money for the guide dogs . I enjoyed getting to know the friendly guide dogs that came to visit us as we were collecting they gave me big cuddles.

Pottery

I have been working hard on my car , I love all the details that I'm making in the clay and will enjoy painting it when it's finished.

Guys group

I had a great time seeing the planes come in at the airport. We even saw the fire engine as well , the planes were very loud. 

Painting furniture

I have been helping to restore an old desk by painting it a really nice white. It was really cool to see it change before my eyes and smoothe out the drips with the brush. I am really pleased with myself. I can't wait to see the finished product! 

Sign designs

I have been drawing James Bond pictures that are going to be put on to my sign that I'm making for my room. I can't wait to start working with tin it's going to be a new material I haven't used before :) 

Pottery

Today I continued with my new plans for a Maserati car made from clay.This is my drawing.

Cricket

In sports outing we have been playing cricket. I've really enjoyed being out in the field the most! But it's been fun for me to try batting and bowling.

Freestyle motorcross

We went and saw some pretty awesome James Bond style motor biking yesterday.  We were really lucky and got to meet Nick Franklin and Levi Sherwood, and watch them practising in the foam pit at Franklin Farm.

Pottery

I finished off my 007 M for Mark with some great painting.I also planned my next project ,my Aston Martin wall plaque....looking forward to getting the clay out !
