Xmas party

I had an awesome time at our Xmas party, I went as Peter Pan and danced with all my best friends, that was so cool.

Computer time

Here I am on the computer checking out google earth.We looked at maps and found Nickys house in England,a birds eye view.

Xmas tree hunting

I loved looking at all the Xmas trees around the community. The decorations were bright and colourful and easy to spot from a distance. I can't wait to put up my tree at home.

Out and about

I had a great walk around Carmichel reserve with all the ducks following us looking for food.

Outer space

I had a really fun time creating my own outer space under black lights. I cut paper, used highlighters and sprinkled glitter onto a black sheet of paper. We listened to spacey music and talked about planets, it was awesome!

Sensory

It was fun getting to play with all the lights and watch all the images of the creatures that live under the sea.

Donkey visit

It was a nice afternoon with the animals. I really enjoyed the big Saint Bernard called frodo :). 

Bubbling Mud Pools

I had an exciting trip to Rotorua with my friends to explore Kuirau park and check out the thermal I saw mud pools, hot steaming boiling water and steam coming out of the ground. My favoutite part of the trip was mimicking the sounds of the plopping mud and giggling with my friend Tame about the smell, the sensory garden was pretty cool too, and we had a nice relaxing lunch beside the beautiful lake Rotorua. 

High tea

Last week we went to the Hotel trinity Whaf for a high tea. I had a Coke and some yummy club sandwiches and lots of cake. I was so full by the end

Pancakes

In cooking I enjoyed flipping the pancakes :) we also made some yummy palklets and had fun making different shapes with the batter.

Halloween Fever

I have been drawing lots of kool pictures for Halloween. My personal book page is going to look scary with all the bats and ghost I've drawn for my page. :) I can't wait till Halloween and will contiue to bring in items for my friends to see at Arohanui.

Palmers visit

It was a sunny day when we visited the palmers garden centre in Bethlehem. I really enjoyed the water features and the animals.

Hamilton

Yesterday I went on a trip to Hamilton to see the excite museum. My faviourt thing was the display about water and lights.

Baseball match

We played baseball in a friendly game against Wilrose. I was our star bowler and I did well with the bat. I can't wait till next we play our next sport. 

Cinderella production

The Cinderella production was so much fun . I got dance and I played the dad very well. It was great to be on stage with all my friends and I can't wait to do it again.

Planting seeds

I have planted some seeds now I have to wait and watch them grow but we have to remember to water them.

James Bond

Pretty exciting afternoon, had a James Bond photo shoot, an Aston Martin even showed up and I got to go for a ride, it was soooooo exciting, so much fun.

Daffodil Day Collection

I had a great time collecting money for Daffodil Day. I got to talk to lots of people and I can't wait to do it again next year :)

Dialled indoor tramp park

Yesterday we went to dialled indoor tramp park, it was very cool.  I even managed to jump holding my James Bond pose.

Making burgers

For cooking I decided that some delicious burgers where what I wanted to make. We made beef burgers! We added cooked onions, cheese, beetroot, lettuce and tomato to make it extra tasty and full of goodness. Yum! 

Hairy Maclary

I went to see the Hairy Maclary statues. They were cool.

Cookie Time

I had fun in cooking today we made gingerbread biscuits. They were super yummy and would be good at Xmas time .

My birthday!

It was my birthday on Wednesday, I turned 39! I had a really fun day that started off with dancing to the beegees in the sensory room. Then I had a barrel of laughs at Drama. When I got back for lunch I got a real surprise when mum showed up, we had sausage rolls and a delicious cake that my friend Kirsty made me at home with a 007 James Bond logo on the front. 

Black light art

I did some awesome art in the car under the black lights. I created a really awesome image of a spiderweb and a spider. It is going to be amazing when I am finished.

Caterpillar

I went to the caterpillars show yesterday at Baycourt.  It was lots of fun and the show was really good. It was all about the life cycle of a butterfly.

Glow disco

On Friday we had a shared Lunch of pumpkin soup and then enjoyed a boggie down at the glow disco in the sensory room.

Katikati trip

Had a lovely time in katikati checking out all the murals, and sculptures, and taking lots of photographs.

Boys outting

Yesterday the boys took a trip out to Action Canvas and upholstery at the mount to see what they get up to in the work shop. we got to see some cool hot rods and even have a sit in them.

Sensory fun

Got to watch my movie called US Marshalls it was a great adventure.

Fun in the pool

I had a nice relaxing swim in the pool.  I can't wait till we go again next week.

Photography fun

Had fun painting our hats so they a ready for our mad hatter shoot.

Community Garden

We had a great outing at the community garden. I found a whole brocolli and some Silverbeet to share with my friends and to take home to my mum. :) Next visit I want to plant some beetroot.

Classic flyers WWI Exhibition

We had a pretty cool day out at the Classic Flyers WWI Exhibitioni.  I got to "fly" a plane, see lots of stuff about the war, and look at heaps of planes.

Skyline Skyrides

Had a really cool day yesterday, we went to skyline Skyrides in Rotorua.  It was heaps of fun going up the gondola and getting to look around at everything.

Mark bond 007

I had fun playing on pic collage making myself mark bond 007! I had fun looking at all the pictures and choosing some funny ones.

Making fegoa and apple crumble!!

Today in cooking we made fegoa and apple crumble. I helped to prepare all the fruit, chop it up, mix the crumble base and bake it the oven. It turned out so yum!!

Getting creative

Today I have computers which I really enjoy. I decided to have a go on the paint program on the computer. I had fun finding different shapes I liked and putting them on the screen in all different sizes. Then I chose different colours to fill them all. I like my graphic artwork.

Marshalls Animal Farm

Yesterday we went to Marshalls Animal Farm.  It's was a fun day out. I got to see lots of animals, and feed and pat them.

Drawing on the iPad

Today in computers I had a go on the drawing ap on the iPad. It was fun. Here is my picture

Day at the beach

Had a lovely day at the beach with all my friends.  Looking at crabs in rock pools, saw some baby mussels and had a lovely picnic morning tea and lunch.

Cooking fun

I had fun in cooking making a nice refreshing drink that keeps us nice and cold in the summer. The watermelon tasted yummy.

Fun on the iPad

I had fun on the iPad learning about money and it's value. My favourite game was when I got to go shopping and work out how much I had spent. 

Walking with friends

In cooking I went for a walk with my friends to Greerton town shops to source ingredients for a recipe we were making, I really enjoyed myself. 

Food pyramid

I had a really cool session in cooking and we made a food pyramid. I have a really fast knowledge of all the different sections and what food belongs in them. I worked really hard!

Photo editing apps

Found a new photo editing app today, I mixed my own colours and painted myself.

Te Puna Quarry

Had an awesome day out at Te Puna Quarry. Was nice and relaxing, awesome day out

Making fritters

Today in cooking we made Zucchini and Tumeric fritters. We grated the zucchini, mixed in all the ingredients and then gently pan fried each fitter in a little bit of olive oil. We couldn't resist having a little taste test before wrapping the cooled fritters up to take home for later. Yum!!
